The clerk will be responsible for receptionist duties that include, telephone answering, recording messages, scheduling appointments and ordering supplies.
Responsible for processing patient applications and admissions which have been approved by the Medical Director Program Physician
Responsible for preparing patient records, and reviewing admission criteria
Answers telephone, answers questions within bounds of delegated authority.
Responsible for screening potential patients for admission and identifying insurance eligibility.
Coordinates the filing, retrieval, dissemination and storage of active and inactive patient records.
Responds to requests for information in accordance with Federal Confidentiality laws, management policies and procedures.
Assists with the processing of County Funding applications and related documentation
Phone contact daily with patients who missed medication; documentation/notification of such to staff.
Greets visitors, patients and directs them to proper location.
Assists with coordination of intake process.
