This position will be Full Time
on 2nd or 3rd shift. This position is starting at $12.51-13.11/hr and is an excellent opportunity to join a rapidly growing company!



Machine Operator Machinist - Warehouse Industrial- Metal Manufacturing- Aluminum



Job Summary of the Machine Operator Role:



Set up and operate fabricating machines such as brake presses and punch presses that cut, shape, and bend aluminum pieces by performing the following duties.



Job Responsibilities of the Machine Operator include:




  • Receive, interpret, and perform press assignments and job duties from shop foreman or supervisor which outline job specifications required for machine adjustments and material requirements.




  • Follow proper guidelines for insertion of product into machine to ensure accuracy of machined product




  • Observe machine to detect workpiece defects or machine malfunction.




  • Inspect overall quality of product by measuring parts to determine machine accuracy.




  • Pack product and complete paperwork associated with all fabricated pieces.




  • Perform minor machine maintenance such as oiling machines, dies or workpieces and assist with the set up and stacking, marking and packing of finished materials.

Job Requirements of the Machine Operator:



  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to read blueprints



  • Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10 s and 100 s. Ability to perform these operations using units of weight measurement, volume, and distance.



  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.



Physical Requirements
of the Machine Operator position:

  • Standing constantly throughout the shift



  • Use of hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms constantly



  • Talking and listening to directions frequently



  • Walking occasionally



  • Lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds regularly



  • Specific vison abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus.



Education Required
